2023 Fall Career Fair Student Positions (Multiple Positions)

The In-Person Fall Career Fair is the largest recruiting event of its kind, held in September, with the goal of bringing together MIT undergraduate, graduate, and recent alumni and leading employers from across industries and fields. Working under the supervision of Career Advising & Professional Development (CAPD) staff, directly reporting to the Assistant Director for Career Fairs, we are excited to announce 3 new positions listed below. The 2023 Fall Career Fair will consist of an in-person career fair held at the Ziegler Sports Center Complex on Friday, September 22nd (an academic holiday) and a virtual career fair in October.
 
CAPD is seeking students for the following roles, that have some prior leadership experience, preferably with career fairs and/or large-scale events (including virtual events). Each position is expected to assist and participate in the Fall Career Fair on the day of the event, unless otherwise specified. Preferred skill sets include project management, working in teams, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
 
Student Director Roles Available as of 4/07/2023: 

  1. Communications & Marketing Assistant (May 1 - September 30, 2023)
  2. Special Initiatives & Interview Day Logistics Assistant (May 1 - September 30, 2023)
  3. Data Analytics Assistant (September 1 - October 31, 2023)*

*Does not need to be present for day-of FCF or virtual fair.

Compensation: 
Each position is paid hourly, over the course of the term position. Compensation will vary based upon role, due the differing responsibilities and time required for each position.
