Graduate Research Intern

We are looking for a graduate research intern to work on an exciting healthcare AI project at the intersection of cognitive sciences and multi-modal machine learning. Senior graduate student with a background in cognitive science, human-computer interaction (HCI) and machine learning will be an ideal candidate for the role. Experience working with radiologists and/or medical imaging data is preferred but not necessary.   
 
The student will have the opportunity to work on a highly interdisciplinary project and publish research papers. They will get to interact with different PARC researchers to propel their own research interest during this internship.  
 
Requirements: 
  1. Graduate Ph.D. student (in Cognitive Science/HCI/Computer Science) 
  2. Experience in designing, executing, and analyzing qualitative studies (e.g., cognitive task analysis) with human participants 
  3. Experience with AI/ML and data science methodologies. 
  4. Proficient in Python and usage of standard data science libraries/packages. 
  5. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment. 
  6. Write high-quality research papers.
