Network Integration Engineer (Dallas, TX)

The team you'll be part of
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
As part of the Network Infrastructure (NI) Customer Engineering Team, you will be part of a team which is responsible in building some of the largest and fastest networks in the world. The engineering team is comprised of individuals who have tons of experience in the industry and looking to spread that knowledge to others who desire to push the limits of technology. NI is comprised of three different groups Fixed Networks (FN), Routing and Switching (IP) and DWDM Transport (Optical). 
As a member of the CE team you will be responsible for designing and provisioning equipment which creates the infrastructure of the internet:
  • Optical networks is currently leading the industry with the transmission capacity of 96 TB/S on a single pair of fibers
  • FN leads the access market with 25 GB/s PON
  • IP is best in class for routing and switching running the latest routing protocols including segment routing
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of our team, you will:
  • Enhance your skills by learning protocols used to build networks
  • Document how networks are to be built and were built
  • Test networks prior to handing them to customers
  • Create configurations which customizes Nokia’s equipment for a specific need
Your skills and experience
 You have:
  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Passion for technology, problem solving, and customer engagement
  • Great team and communication skills, fluent English is expected
  • High motivation to work in an international corporation and to face the challenges and opportunities of digital change
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Tools: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, Visio, etc.

  • United States Salary Range: $56,840 to $105,560
