Marketing Internship - Summer 2023 - New Albany, OH

Role: Marketing Intern
Location: New Albany, OH (housing stipend available if requirements are met)
Pay: $19-22/hour (based on academic classification)
Target Duration: 12 weeks (May 15 – August 4, may be flexible)
 
Summary/Objective:
The student will work with our Sales/Marketing teams while gaining exposure to our technologies and our competitive landscape. Intern will work with commercial leadership and business partners while working on projects such as updating communications, optimizing online positioning, and product marketing strategy.
 
Opportunities to gain exposure/develop skills by assisting on projects/tasks including:
  • Content generation/writing (Web, PR, SEO)
  • Market Research (Industry Reports, Competitor Analysis)
  • Brand Design
 
Requirements:
  • Pursuing or acquired Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business with a Marketing/Sales concentration, open to sophomore and above.
  • Achieve a 3.0 GPA: preferably 3.5 or higher.
  • MS Office skills including advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, market research, media marketing, website design, graphics, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effectively handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Student involvement and/or work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite at our Global Corporate Headquarters in New Albany, OH.
 
Our interns play an important role in our business and are key members of the team. Some of the tasks, roles and responsibilities include: 
  • Collaborate with CVG teams including managers, peers, leaders, and other partners.
  • Work with a dedicated team who will provide guidance and coaching through the summer.
  • Involvement in the department day-to-day activities.
  • Create a project overview which you will present to senior leadership at the end of the summer.
  • Participate in business discussions, meetings, and/or reviews to learn CVG methodologies and best practices within our departments.
  • Begin to build a professional network through intern specific and corporate specific activities.
