Summer Maintenance

A Student Maintenance Worker is an employee of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, University Housing.

The position is responsible for all aspects of assignments (light maintenance duties such as but not limited to painting, pressure washing, moving items, working with staff to do light plumbing, carpentry, etc.) to facilitate a welcoming, caring, healthy and safe environment, promoting community, rooted in the world renowned hospitality of Lafayette, Louisiana.

As a Student Maintenance Worker, this staff member must respond quickly and effectively in emergency and non-emergency situations and contacting the necessary support resources if further assistance is needed and/or required. Student Maintenance Workers dually report to Assistant Director of Housing Facilities and Property Managers.
