Summer 2023 Wealth Management Internship

Trails Edge Wealth Advisers is a boutique RIA in the Northern Chicago Suburbs that offers high net worth individuals, families and entrepreneurs independent financial planning and wealth management advice. Our advisory model is based on a disciplined collaborative planning process that addresses the client’s full financial situation in a holistic fashion. The advanced planning process includes using a wide array of investment solutions including stocks, bonds, alternatives as well as structured notes.

 

·        Shadow members on our team to learn what they do and how a wealth management team runs day-to-day.

·        Assist with the research process on prospective clients’ information, and support team in preparing presentations for client meetings.

·        Provide support for special projects. These may include organization of data in our CRM system, onboarding new clients, or running periodic reporting in our portfolio management system.

·        Help with research on our investment portfolio and listen on update calls from funds and companies.

 

This internship will be offered in a hybrid in-person/virtual setting, with interns expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week and working remotely on other days.

 

·        Minimum 3.0 GPA

·        Major: Finance(Preferred) / SOHE

·        Intended Graduation Date: May 2025

·        Completion of, or current enrollment in finance coursework

·        Strong teamwork skills

·        High level of emotional intelligence

·        Excellent written and verbal skills

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Diligence and attitude to continuously learn

·        Well-rounded leadership and work experience

·        Permanent work authorization in the US
