System Administrator (Req ID 4269)

Job Overview


The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading and monitoring of all Chugach Government Solutions, Tidewater office and remote site networks and systems. The System Administrator will also be responsible for all IA monitoring and documentation to comply with DFARS 7012 and NIST 800-171. Proficiency in Windows server 2008 R2 through 2012 R2, Hyper-V, Barracuda Systems, Avaya systems and Windows 7 Pro though Windows 10 Pro and Mac are required.


Responsibilities


Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Provide server/network break/fix support in a mission critical environment.

Configure and provision new clients in support of the Tidewater network.

Helpdesk support for all Tidewater clients.

Maintain the Tidewater Filecloud server and data.

Interface daily with onsite and offsite users on various tech issues.

Analyze issues in an Enterprise to determine the best course of action for resolution.

Provide root cause analysis and be comfortable recommending permanent configuration changes when necessary.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Experience with switches and routers.

Experience with Window Server 2008/2008R2//2012/2012 R2.

Experience with multiple hardware platforms from HP, Dell and Apple.

Experience with various Networked printers, copiers and scanners.

Experience with Virtualization using Hyper-V or ESX.

Experience with Avaya products.

Work in cooperation with external partners, including consultants, agencies and vendors, to troubleshoot intra-system issues, and to assist with system integration design solutions.

Perform additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


Mandatory:

Must be a US citizen

Must be able to obtain a Secret or higher clearance

B.S. in related field desired, or 10 years of related experience
