JOB SUMMARY
The Pre-Certified Nursing Assistant is accountable for the provision and promotion of quality service to the population of Hillside Manor Nursing Home and practices within corporate policy and nursing standards under the supervision of the RN and LPN. The Pre-Certified Nursing Assistant will work under the direction of the CNA or Instructor at all times.
WORK HOURS:
MMC-BD will be hosting a CNA Class in April of 2023. The program includes 40 hours of online learning followed by 40 hours of live skills education and clinical training in Hillside Manor. The CNA class will be held Monday – Friday at Hillside Manor. Upon class completion, graduates must work a minimum of every other weekend at either Hillside Manor, Remembrance Home or Eagle's Wings. Both Full Time and Part hours after class completion are available.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: CNA Certification required within 120 day of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
