Media Intern
The Technology Policy Institute is a think tank that focuses on the economics of innovation, technological change, and related regulation. We are looking to hire a media intern who is able to generate social media content, strategy, campaigns for our podcast, conference, and written materials on antitrust, attention economy, broadband access, digital divide, spectrum, content moderation, privacy, streaming media, and other telecom and tech policy issues.
Ability to work with data analytics is strongly recommended. This position is ideal for candidates seeking an opportunity to become familiar with SEO, tracking statistics, and social media campaigns. Experience with Google Analytics, podcast analytics, podcast transcription services, video editing software like Capcut, and infographic tools like Canva would be helpful but are not required. This is a good position for someone interested in policy related to economics, broadband infrastructure, AI, encryption, cybersecurity, IP, antitrust, crypto, and content moderation. We are a small team of Ph.D. economists, lawyers, and software engineers.
This is a paid position. This position may be part time or full time. This position is fully remote.
