Social Media/Marketing Intern
Column 15 is seeking a motivated Social Media/Marketing Intern to join our team! The intern will assist with various social media initiatives to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition. The intern will also support marketing efforts for our events and special promotions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in social media and marketing and wants to gain practical experience in a dynamic small-business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of social media and marketing campaigns
- Assist in creating and publishing content on various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Create flyers and other marketing materials to promote events and specials
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including developing our weekly newsletter
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and potential opportunities
- Collaborate with the team to generate new ideas for promoting Column 15 and expanding customer reach
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Available to work 10-15 hours per week
Education/Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Prior experience in social media management or marketing is a plus
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Photography skills are a plus
