Job Type: Student Assistant. Approximately 10 hours per week. Work hours are M-F between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work schedule determined each semester based on availability. If contacted for an interview, there will be a hands-on portion of the interview to determine computer and customer service skills.
Employment Type: Student Hourly or Work Study
Duration: Permanent during Academic Year. Commitment to position for more than one year due to extensive training required.

Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented student assistant with a positive, upbeat attitude to support Student Legal Services staff with client screening, intake, and scheduling for legal services.
Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Student assistants will greet clients, conduct intake and collect information, answer telephones, input client information into a database, schedule appointments, and perform basic office duties. Ongoing office training and staff meetings required. Must have stable internet when working remotely (if needed). Laptop for remote work required. Laptop rental options are available if needed.

Legible handwriting
Experience with Adobe, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft programs
Neat appearance
Hourly Pay Rate: $14.50
