About the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention: OCSPP
This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. Partial work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized.
Duties
At the entry level of this position, you will:
- Plan and conduct pesticide use and usage evaluations by assessing, analyzing and interpreting pesticide use and usage information;
- Develop strategies to resolve pesticide usage, data gathering and resource questions by analyzing data from database systems and pesticide use precedents;
- Review and prepare pesticide usage reports, data compilations and other pesticide related documentation for program use;
- Collaborate with internal and external parties in coordinating program activities and discussing pesticide usage issues.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses. NOTE: Career ladder promotions are not automatic, and all eligibility and qualifications requirements must be met in order to progress to the next grade level.
