Job Description:

EBOTAN is looking to hire a Product Development Intern! This role will be responsible for all Product Development related activities with focus on Maison EBOTAN collection. This collection includes but is not limiting to lighting, textile collection and other products. The ideal Product Development Intern will have great problem solving and communication skills. Responsibilities include collecting research and generating ideas for new or existing products. They will then take those ideas generated and assess the quality and feasibility of the products. The Product Development Intern will collect feedback on these ideas and perform a marketing analysis on how to bring these products to the market to reach out target audience. A prototype will be developed and executed for testing. The last stage will be the plan and implementation process of the product launch to the product market.
Responsibilities:
· Idea generation, research and development to collect data on new ideas for products and services
· Take the ideas generated in the idea generation stage and assesses them for quality and feasibility
· Collect feedback on ideas generated
· Performs market analyses. This process involves strategizing how to best bring the product to market based on 4 P’s (product, price, placement, promotion)
· Create a prototype of the planned product
· Execute the prototype testing phase
· Plan and implement the product launch to the public market
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Product Development or related field
· Interior Design knowledge
· Proficient PC skills (MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and writing
· Ability to work well with a team
· Sharp problem solving capabilities
