Front Desk Assistant

The Front Desk Assistant serves as main point of contact for the PARC, assists students with their needs, oversees staff scheduling and shift management, and answers telephone and emails. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, time management and multi-tasking skills; is friendly and welcoming, proficient in computers, and willing to work with little supervision. 
 
Requirements: 
  • Enrolled for credit at UW-Parkside 
  • Attend pre-semester training

Responsibilities 
  • Serve as main point of contact for the PARC 
  • Greet and welcome students/faculty/staff as they enter PARC 
  • Sanitize and keep clean all areas of the PARC 
  • Oversee staff scheduling and shift management 
  • Answer telephone and emails, and follow up to any messages 
  • Assist students checking in 
  • Make appropriate referrals to other campus resources 
  • Work 4 – 15 hours per week
