Facility Engineering Intern - Wastewater
Intern/Co-Op will contribute to a fast-paced growing team in the Facility Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical & Pluming department and will perform tasks both independently and by working closely with team members to ensure that objectives are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare design documents to support the construction of industrial and commercial facility infrastructure;
- Prepare engineering drawings in electronic drafting software including AutoCAD and Revit with support from our CAD designers;
- Perform load calculations for mechanical and electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities;
- Assist senior engineers with the selection and specification of mechanical and electrical equipment;
- Assist with arc-flash field studies, prepare 1-line diagrams in SKM software, and prepare written reports;
- Conduct field visits to active facilities with engineers and technicians during design and during construction;
- Prepare written reports for assigned projects;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry experts within the Facility Engineering division;
- May assist in preparation of proposal estimates of time and expense required to complete the project; and
- Performs other related work as apparent or as assigned and performs all such work in a safe manner, consistent with the firm’s policies and procedures.
Education and Skills Required:
- Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- Must be a team player and possess a collaborative attitude;
- 3.0 GPA or higher;
- Sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals;
- Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change;
- Be self-motivated;
- Prior internship and/or related engineering experience are a plus.
