Your Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer I for Intelligent Solutions Group (Fargo Plant) located in Fargo, North Dakota, you will innovate and implement Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity improvements of small to medium scope. In addition, you will:
  • Serve as the manufacturing representative supporting updates/new releases to the Bill of Materials (BOM), processing change orders (ECO/MCO), and training production operators
  • Establish material flow, routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, quality plans, and labor standards for new and current parts or programs of small to medium scope
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations
  • Investigate issues, analyze data, and implement solutions related to material flow, capacity, productivity and efficiency projects

What Skills You Need

  • 1 or more years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or operations
  • Knowledge of World Class Quality Systems/Methods: ISO-9001, Six Sigma, DFM/DFA, FMEA and/or Mistake-Proofing
  • Knowledge of assembly line and process design, material presentation, line balance, and/or visual management tools
  • Experience of ergonomics and proper manufacturing safety techniques
  • Knowledge of capital budgeting and equipment justification
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering related field or 3 or more years of equivalent experience.
