What Are We Looking For?
GOBankingRates is looking for a News intern for our 2023 GOInterns Program!
Work with GBR’s “Of the Day” team to create engaging and informative content for readers on trending topics using data analysis and team collaboration.
This is a minimum 12-week internship beginning in April 2023 that will provide hands-on experience working on challenging real-world problems that will help build your expertise and resume! This is a paid internship, at a rate of $17.00/hour.
How Will You Make an Impact?
- Work with a fast-paced team writing trending financial news
- Write breaking news in real time
- Create content about all things personal finance
- Discover various ways to analyze data on user engagement
- Collaborate with a team of experienced journalists
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently obtained a Bachelor’s degree in communications,media & journalism, writing & composition.
- General Interest in Digital Media/ Online Advertising
- Proficient in AP Style writing and editing
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Strong communication, project management, and critical thinking skills
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week Monday-Friday between 9:00AM - 6:00PM EST for the duration of the 12-week program
