Writing Center Tutor
Come and work with us in Fall 2023! You will help students from all majors improve their writing through one-with-one discussions. You will enjoy flexible hours and choose when you work—you can even tutor via Zoom on weekends and evenings. While enjoying the warm, friendly atmosphere of the Writing Center, you will gain marketable skills in writing, editing, communication, and leadership.
Applicants must have a positive attitude, a friendly yet professional demeanor, and a minimum 3.2 GPA. Must have completed or currently be enrolled in English 2010, participated in a USU Writing Center session, and have at least three semesters left at USU (some exceptions apply). Must be able to enroll in ENGL 4910, the one-credit tutoring practicum held on Thursdays from 3:30-4:20.
