Creating a robust, high-performing diverse team is a critical part of our success. To support our goal of having a dynamic, diverse team, we have designed our Commercial Banking Early Insights Programs, which aim to attract undergraduate students who self-identify as Black, Hispanic and or/Female; however, all students regardless of background who are interested in exploring job opportunities at JPMorgan Chase are welcome to apply.

Our Commercial Banking Early Insights Programs are virtual conferences with business specific overviews and networking, followed by interviews. They provide undergraduate students with a first-hand look at what it’s like to work at a leading financial services firm by offering training and networking events, as well as consideration for internship opportunities.

What to Expect

The goal of our program is to prepare you to interview for our 2024 Commercial Banking Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries Summer Analyst Program. As part of the conference, we will offer a variety of components from education about affinity groups, to geographic and program overviews, along with networking opportunities with senior leaders, and advice on the interview process from our campus recruitment team.

Commercial Banking is focused on helping our clients succeed and making a positive difference in our communities. We provide credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking and real estate services to clients including corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and nonprofit organizations.

Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries

Spend your summer analyzing, developing solutions and strategies for mid-size corporations in various industries, municipalities and not for profit entities. You’ll support our Bankers, Underwriters, Treasury and Product Partners to provide a range of solutions while honing your financial and client-facing skills

Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries - Credit Markets Track

Focus your summer experience on supporting mid-size corporations through specific types of financial transactions and analysis including modeling, cash flow or collateral analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and more. You’ll support Underwriters, Bankers, and Originators to perform an array of tasks that build your critical thinking and credit structuring skillset.

Who We Are Seeking  

We are seeking students who are currently enrolled, in good standing, at accredited universities in the U.S., with an expected graduation date of December 2024 – Spring 2025, with:

    * Attention to detail

    * Eagerness to learn and develop

    * Strong collaboration skills

    * Ability to think critically and analyze data

    * Basic understanding of financial services

    * Strong verbal and written communication

    * Fluency in English

About The Process:

To be considered for the Commercial Banking Early Insight Programs, you must complete the following steps:

   1. Complete this application including program preference and city preference

         + Make sure your program and city preferences align as noted in the descriptions above

   2. If you meet the minimum criteria for the Early Insight Program application, you will receive an invitation to complete HireVue.

         + Note, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, we strongly encourage you to complete your HireVue video(s) within 1 week of receiving.

   3. If selected, our team will reach out to you with final details.
