The impact you will make:
This role provides professional direct care services on a day to day basis in one of our “cottages” that house 8 children. It is a family like environment and you would perform familial day to day tasks and activities including playing and recreating with the children. Counselor I is an entry level position with with supervision, guidelines, direction, support and training from the treatment team. Counselor I participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu according to each child’s treatment plan and our treatment approach.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Skills and abilities are typically acquired through two (2) years related work experience.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associates or bachelor’s degree in a social science or closely-related field is preferred.
- Requires a valid Montana driver’s license.
- Able to work nights and weekends.
