SENIOR ARCHITECT AND DESIGN POSITION

Full Time in house SENIOR Level ARCHITECT AND DESIGNER positions available for Award Winning Architectural and Expediting firm. The successful candidate will perform all activities associated with design of a major public building. Duties include detailed architectural design work for projects requiring collaboration with various disciplines, clients, and consultants for high buildings, eating and drinking restaurants, etc. The work is highly technical, and the candidate must work independently and collaboratively with large project teams. Expertise in Autocad/Revit and related design software is required. 3D Modeling and 3D Renderings a plus.

COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE

· Senior Architect and Project Manager. Min (8) years experience

· Experience managing design for high end, modern, residential and commercial projects.

. Managing multiple clients such as McDonalds, Fat Tuesday, Krogers, At Home, FedEx, 7-Eleven, Wingstop, and other non-Franchise Clients.

. Knowledge of NYC/LI Building Code, NYC Zoning, Landmarks, etc. a plus.

. 3D Modeling and 3D Rendering skills w/ knowledge of Sketchup a plus.

· Manage design for all company development projects, including concept, site plans, schematic, design development, construction documents, finish plans.

· Coordinate work of all exterior design consultants

· Attend weekly construction meetings on job sites, as needed.

. Proficiency with BIM / Revit and Microsoft Office Suite are required. Photoshop, Bluebeam, and Sketchup are desirable.

. Excellent design capabilities and strong verbal and visual communication skills, along with a strong capacity for generating technical details that are constructible.

. Project manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

. Other duties as assigned.
