New Graduate Associate Architect I

  • Primary Focus Will Include:
  • Collaborates on current architectural projects
  • Assists Project Leaders or Project Managers on a variety of aviation projects producing drawings and 3D modeling while keeping up with project schedules and deliverables.
  • Maintain a high level of performance and adhere to our design and professional guidelines.
  • Assists with architectural documentation
  • Studies design problems and develops solutions
  • Develops models and designs using applicable software
  • Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Assists in the preparation of project specifications and production of design development and construction models, and construction details and drawings.
  • Participates in design reviews and critics during early phases of design.
  • Client interaction through presentations
  • Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Able to perform under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work within a Team environment
  • Knowledge of Construction preferred
  • Able to manage multiple tasks
  • Able to pay attention to detail and deliver tasks on time
  • Proficiency in software:

  • Conceptual Modeling: exposure to Sketchup and/or Rhino, Grasshopper
  • Documentation: Revit, AutoCAD a plus
  • Rendering: exposure to Enscape, Twin Motion, Lumion and/or V-Ray
  • Graphics: Adobe Suite
  • Possess good communication skills and display the following attributes:

  • What You'll Need
  • Essential Responsibilities:

  • Plans and conducts tasks requiring independent judgment in the analysis of design, planning and occupancy studies and design layouts.
  • Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for project assignments.
  • Assists in the preparation of project specifications compiling and analyzing relevant data.
  • Confers with other architects and engineers for the purpose of explaining and interpreting architectural standards, codes or regulations.
  • Prepares progress reports and keeps others informed.
  • Actively participates in quality implementation plans, including scheduling QC reviews and compiling comments into project documents.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
