Web Development Assistant

The student will work with CCRS staff members and College of Business faculty to develop a website to support the Higher Education and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Toolkit project, funded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. The website is expected for delivery in fall 2023 and will be hosted and maintained by the University. Responsibilities include:
  • Work with a team to develop a WordPress-based toolkit website and related digital materials.
  • Write content and assist with the design of digital assets.
  • Work with project team and project advisory board to research additional toolkit features.

Qualifications:
  • Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Web Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related majors.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize workload involving multiple projects at one time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of initiative, self-motivation, and creativity
  • Knowledge in website design platforms, especially WordPress.
  • Students are expected to work collaboratively and be sensitive to client needs.

Students are able to work 15-20 hours per week with likely opportunities for additional work over the summer and fall terms.
