These officers manage Agency programs and projects, conduct resource planning and implementation, and deliver essential products and services to its customers, on schedule. DIA relies on these officers to analyze, evaluate, and direct a variety of programs across the spectrum of DIA engagements. They manage and coordinate a wide range of projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives that further the Agency's mission. Officers in the PA&M specialty manage and monitor the use of resources (e.g., people, systems, space, budgets, contracts), and maximize their effectiveness for multiple and wide-ranging operations and programs to foster productivity and deliver solutions. Staff Officers at every level plan and execute the essential business processes and projects that advance every aspect of DIA’s daily operations. Officers in this career specialty carry significant responsibility for keeping an office on track every day. They coordinate logistical aspects of office operations such as task and records management, mail distribution and timekeeping; facilitate information flow, storage and retrieval; and maintain a wide variety of administrative policies and Join our team of more of more than 800 Staff Operations Officers (SOOs) who optimize DIA’s daily operations around the world. DIA’s SOOs perform myriad tasks across a spectrum of administrative and enterprise advancement requirements. They are the conduits for efficient implementation of decentralized Agency programs and effective office management. You will implement Agency and local-level policy, advising our workforce on administrative and procedural guidance. Using your keen organizational and interpersonal skills, you will collaborate across the enterprise to meet customer service and stakeholder needs.
