Our Summer Internship Program (10-12 weeks) provides students and recent grads with hands-on engineering and semiconductor industry experience. We offer incredible learning opportunities by allowing our interns to contribute to meaningful projects.

Successful candidates must be available to commit to Track 1 or Track 2 of the Summer Intern Program:
 
Track 1: 5/15/2023 to 8/4/2023 
Track 2: 6/19/2023 to 9/8/2023 
 
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Objective(s):

  • Thermal test and model validation between probe head and space transformer 
  • Vertical probe modeling fundamental characterization
  • Probe retention characterization and specification
Work environment:

  • 100% On-Site required 
  • R&D
  
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Preferred major(s):

  • Mechanical Engineering 
Preferred level of education:

  • Undergraduate/Masters
Preferred Coursework:

  • General Physics, Mechanics of Materials (Preferred), Statics, Dynamics 
Preferred Skills:

  • ACAD, SolidWorks (Strong), Microsoft Office, Machine Shop (Preferred), Strong Hands on Skills (Required) 
 
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $34.00 and $36.00.  The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.  Benefits offered for this role include: medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.
