Intern, Business Strategy Team - Natural Gas Strategy Research (Remote Eligible)
Interested in emerging technologies around decarbonization? In partnership with the Business Strategy team, this intern will research and support development of Energy Solutions' natural gas strategy and focus on decarbonization efforts. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge of the industry as it pertains to current market trends and conduct research on emerging technologies. With the support of a mentor and colleagues, you will conduct research and translate your research into deliverable action items and barriers to program implementation. All Energy Solutions interns prepare and deliver a presentation based on your work to a supportive audience.
This is a paid, remote, Eastern Time Zone internship with an expectation of 20 - 40 hours/week for a minimum of 10-12 weeks between 6/12/2023 - 9/15/2023.
Qualifications:
- Desire to help combat climate change
- Working toward a degree in an environmental or climate science-related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to professionally summarize information in verbal and written communication
- Able to work and collaborate during Eastern Time Zone hours
- Able to meet deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Compensation: $20 / hour undergraduate students; $25 / hour graduate students
