Finance Intern - 2023 Summer Program

The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Finance Intern. Apply your knowledge of finance to real-world financial modeling, analysis, and reporting with our experienced finance team. Our growth-oriented company provides a valuable learning opportunity as you share your ideas and creativity with the team. This position is located in Raritan, NJ.

The Responsibilities

  • Shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with our experienced team of finance professionals.
  • Hands-on application of finance principles in a fast-paced work environment with opportunity to attend weekly meetings.
  • Assist with financial modeling.
  • Provide general financial/accounting support.
  • Provide support for annual/quarterly forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Job Deliverables

  • Assist with financial analysis and other special projects.
  • Help prepare monthly/quarterly financial analysis packets for management.
  • The intern will present data-driven recommendations to the finance team.

The Individual

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program majoring in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Minimum Year in school: 3rd year or higher.
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Organized, self-motivated individual who can juggle multiple simultaneous assignments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to accept employment without sponsorship.
  • Interns should be prepared to fully commit to the start and end dates of on or about May 22 through August 18, 2023.
  • Interns are expected to provide their housing, travel, and any other requirements necessary for their participation in this program.

Salary Transparency
The pay range for the Internship Program is between $16/hour to $30/hour. The Pay rate will be determined by the year in school, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate. Benefits are not included for this position.
