Business Analyst - Revenue Cycle Management (REMOTE)
Overview
As a Business Analyst – Project and Production Support, you will be responsible for providing operational support, business performance analysis and reporting, and drive improvement projects. Serve as a subject matter expert in documenting, communicating, and resolving issues through business requirements for technology improvements or in support of operational process efficiencies for revenue cycle management systems.
100% Remote Position - Equipment Provided.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Revenue Cycle Management team to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations for production issues and technology projects
- Resolve complex operational, organizational, and technical problems through research and problem solving to determine root cause and lead process improvements with support of team members
- Monitor and track highly detailed and multiple complex projects, systems, and data with support of team members
- Progressively strive to build relationships to obtain information in regards to process flows of the life of a claim including understanding systems used and functions performed within each work type, dependencies / interactions, and identification of potential impact resulting from any changes
- Evaluate and identify areas of improvement / opportunity for operational / technological changes to support efficiencies and widget throughput
- Document business requirements with precision and accuracy resulting in successful technology delivery
- Performs application system demonstrations, assist with system testing, and elevate system issues, as necessary
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity in accordance with company policies and procedures

- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

You should reach out if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree along with 2+ years of experience in Healthcare analysis preferred.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills required along with written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment under tight deadlines.
- Possess expertise in data analysis, data collection, and process improvement resulting in partnership with more senior analysts to develop comprehensive business requirements for technology changes.
- Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications; specifically Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and operating systems related to revenue cycle management preferred.
