Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Intern is responsible for providing support for the sales and
marketing department. The intern will report to the Marketing Director and
assist with all business needs related to marketing and sales support with an
emphasis on outbound digital marketing communications.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Intern’s primary duties include but are not limited to:
-Assist with creating content for the blog, social media and sales and marketing collateral
-Assist with social media content creation, posting, hashtag research
and engagement (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
-Order various materials for sales and marketing; collateral, posters, etc.
-Assist with event planning for upcoming company events and help on-site during events
-Collaborate with marketing to create new ideas for campaigns to support lead generation efforts
-Assist with client gifts, gift bags for potential clients and employee gifts
-Assist with project coordination/management
-Assist with PR (media submissions, press releases, etc)
-Other projects as assigned
Job Requirements
-Creative thinker who is a quick learner and efficient
-Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint -
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills
-Organized individual who excels in Project Management
-Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
-Organized, dependable and detail-oriented Team Player with a cooperative spirit
