Systems Engineer

EXB Solutions is currently seeking a seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our team supporting NGAD (Next Generation Air Dominance). This is a career- maker role where the primary goal is to increase fuel efficiency or performance based on mission demand. Our team gets to use their modeling and simulations expertise to support innovative engineering intelligence solutions.

This role will need to be local to E. Hartford, CT or West Palm Beach, FL or Willing to Relocate

As our Model Based Systems Engineer (MSBE) team member, you will:
  • Be a disciplined and organized self-starter who can work on several data tasks and modeling projects at the same time.
  • Will work with workstreams or packages to take on best practices around model architecture, conventions, and SOP’s.
  • Migrate Legacy Artifacts (Requirements, SDP, SVP) to Cameo Models with Emphasis on System Decomposition, Functions, Interfaces, and Performance to Describe and Analyze Complex Systems and Software.
  • Work closely with other individuals to continually improve and advance our models.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-2 Years of Experience Developing Models Using Cameo Systems Modeler (or similar) conforming to SysML
  • US Citizenship Required Due to Government Contracts
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to Communicate Efficiently and Effectively to Coordinate Systems Engineering Activities and Report Status
  • Ability to Work Effectively Within a Team and Drive Tasks to Closure that are High in Quality and Technically Accurate
  • Good Interpersonal and Organizational Skills
  • Demonstrate Computer Proficiency Using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA)
  • Familiarity with Digital Thread / Digital Twin Concept
  • Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Standards, Principles, Theories, Concepts and Techniques
  • Familiarity with ARP-4754A and DO-178B/C Aerospace Design and Verification Processes
  • Familiarity with the Agile Management Framework
  • Knowledge of at Least Two Systems Engineering Functions: Requirements Development and Management, Architecture, System Design, Integration, and Test
