Business Overview

Wells Fargo SDI Connectivity Solutions is a channel that enables open banking by providing externally facing APIs, Webhooks, SDKs that enable off property digital experiences that serves three areas in helping to set the future direction of Wells Fargo.

 

·      Money Movement API (Product)

·      Reliability (Data Analytics)

·      Accounts & Data API (Product)

 

Program Overview:

Over the course of 10 weeks, you can expect the following:

·      On-the-job experience: Working independently as well as part of a high-performing team while having an end-to-end ownership of a distinct deliverable that has a direct impact on business and/or enterprise. You will begin to build a robust consulting toolkit including qualitative and quantitative analytical skillset, storytelling, visualization and interpersonal communication skills by actively participating in your team’s day-today activities.

·      Professional support: You will be matched with a peer “buddy” who will help you navigate and enjoy our internship as well as answer your day-to-day questions. Additionally, a senior mentor will help you navigate through challenging situations, and give you feedback throughout the course of the summer.

·      A speaker series (virtual and/or in-person): Wells Fargo’s top leaders provide insight into how to make the most of your summer experience, share their career paths, tips and advice, while also sharing trends in the financial and functional spaces they serve.

·      Organization networking activities: We promote community involvement and networking with other summer interns and full-time analysts. You will have the opportunity to create lasting professional relationships, build your network, and take advantage of a diverse and rapidly growing workforce.




In this role, you will:

 

Support Product Owners, Product Analysts (backups to POs) and Business Analysts. You will touch all three while learning technical/digital product management tenets.  

 

·      Participate on an agile scrum team writing user stories, error mapping and service mapping and working with the lead product manager. 

·      Provide customer support for digital products, engaging in stakeholder management, and creating documentation for projects, programs and initiatives. 

·      Create capacity for additional discovery for new APIs to grow our business.

·      Lead internal projects to aid in our efficiencies (such as creation of user story library and updating data dictionary for consistency across our APIs).  

 

 

 

 




Required Qualifications, US:

·      6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education



Desired Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree candidate with an expected graduation in December 2023 – May/June 2024

·      BA/BS degree candidate with major concentration in Computer Science preferred

·      Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

·       Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills              

·      Knowledge of digital platforms, developer portals and web services; ADA, APIs, Apigee, WSO2, Authentication & Authorization, Open Standards, JSON, REST, Swagger, OAuth  

·      Analytical skills and interest in identifying, collecting and strategically analyzing data, helping drive insights and interest in developing strategic recommendations

·      Proven success in problem analysis and resolution with strong attention to detail and accuracy

·      Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

 

   Internship Duration: 10 Weeks (Late May – Early August 2023)

 

Program Locations: Charlotte, NC
