Park Aid (Seasonal) – Lake Perris State Recreation Area
The Park Aide reporting location is Lake Perris State Recreation Area, located at 17801 Lake Perris Drive, Perris, CA 92571.
The Visitor Services Park Aide works under the immediate supervision of the Supervising State Park Ranger and under the direction of the on-duty State Park Ranger(s). The Park Aide’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to customer service, contact station operation, vessel inspection, facility and equipment maintenance, administration, and other related duties. The Park Aide will perform the duties dressed in full State Park uniform and follow the required grooming standards of the department. The uniform will be purchased by the Park Aide and will be in good condition at the start of the workday.
Due to a heavy visitor attendance and revenue collection, the Park Aide position may be required to work weekends and holidays. Evening and early morning shifts may be necessary for operational need. During peak season, this position may be required to work longer than 8 hours per day when requested, but typically not more than 40 hours a week.
This position is subject to live scan fingerprint clearance. This position is intermittent and may work up to 189 days in a 12-month period.
