Summer Job Coach
Creative Rehab is looking to hire several part-time Summer Job Coaches to work with high school students this summer at local employment sites. Opportunities to work in surrounding counties are also available. These high school students have a disability and are often working for the first time in the community.
As a Creative Rehab Job Coach, you will be introducing students to the job site, helping teach students new job duties, working with students on proper social skills at work, and helping them with basic work concepts. Job Coaches will also assess students’ job skills by direct observation, provide training methods and techniques, and document observations in routine reports. Job Coaches will also be responsible for advocating for the student as necessary and with updating supervisor and students’ families on the students’ progress.
Teachers, Aides, and other school personnel are encouraged to apply. Summer work program lasts for five weeks and is approximately 20-25 hours per week. Creative Rehab offers two consecutive five-week sessions, so Job Coaches can choose to work five or ten weeks.
