Corporate Innovation Intern
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of Koppers internal open innovation platform, iShare, including general site management and assisting with idea evaluations and implementations
- Contribute to the marketing and advertising of iShare, promoting the platform and sharing success stories
- Monitor Corporate Innovation Sharepoint site for innovation-related requests from the organization
- Assist with scouting for Tech Talks, Pitch Days, and startup collaborations
- Contribute to the preparation of materials for the monthly Growth & Innovation Steering Committee meetings
- Participate in the expansion of corporate innovation at Koppers by suggesting relevant innovation methodologies or practices new to Koppers
- Other innovation-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in corporate innovation, entrepreneurship, business, or related field
- Must be proficient at Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be proactive, creative, organized, adaptable, and reliable
- Ability to set priorities, manage time effectively, and work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
