Salem-Keizer Public Schools is seeking applicants that are interested in being an Emergency Licensed Substitute for the 2022-23 School Year only.
- Salem-Keizer Public Schools will reimburse the applicant the cost of emergency substitute license fees, after they complete the SKPS hiring process and are cleared for employment.
- As part of the SKPS hiring process, you must participate in a virtual substitute orientation.
- Substitute orientations are held virtually multiple times per month from 4:30 - 6:00 invitation will be sent a week in advance of the session.
- Interested candidates must apply for an Emergency substitute teaching license through Teachers Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) (www.tspc.state.or.us). The district letter of support will be sent to TSPC, after an applicant attends the SKPS substitute orientation.
