BESL is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to provide support in the Electro-Optical Space Domain Awareness mission area.

•Minimum of 6 years experience as a Software Engineer

•Competency in Java as a backend service for UIs

•Experience in developing software for Angular / Typescript / KendoUI (Frontend)

•Experience in developing and working with Micro Frontend Services (MFE)

•Competency in the agile software development processes such as scrum or Kanban using tools such as Jira for tracking work

•Experience in software integration with dependent components

•Experience designing complex software based on requirements

•Strong development skills to include design concepts, supporting code reviews, and clear debugging logic

•Experience in delivery of production software products in fielded environments

•Must have strong communication skills through verbal, written, and multimedia products

•Experience in the Electro-Optical Space Domain Awareness mission

•Experience with software deployment to Space Force remote compute platforms

•Experience with maintaining CI/CD software pipelines with Jenkins, Nexus tools

•Understanding of Angular unit testing

•Experience with development in a virtual machine environment

•Experience with distributed code repository tools such as GIT

•Experience using code quality tools such as Fortify or SonarQube for supporting Application Security and Development STIGs

•Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math

Other:

•Ability to travel (<15%)

•Ability to support late-night development and test efforts

BESL complies with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary range for this particular effort in Colorado is approximate $95,000 - 110,000.00.
