Engineering Co-Op (2023 Fall)

Harris Products Group, a division of Lincoln Electric is looking for dedicated team members in the following sub-disciplines to help advance our technology as well as our manufacturing process: mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and materials.
 
Co-Op and Internship Opportunities
Harris Products Group partners with various universities to provide unique co-op and internship experiences. Our immersive co-op program gives students exposure to the following fields:
 
Electrical Engineering
» Design equipment and control systems to manufacture different products.
» Learn and work with control engineering software.
» Collaborate with a team of engineers on capital projects & production support.
 
Manufacturing Engineering
» Apply LEAN ideas to improve the flow of production.
» Design equipment to manufacture different products.
» Work with R&D to improve design of products for manufacturing.
» Select, Specify and implement equipment for improving products.
 
Mechanical Engineering
» Design custom equipment in a world class manufacturing environment.
» Develop manufacturing processes to create new products.
» Analyze and improve the quality and production of global products.
» Work in an environment of continuous improvement.
 
Facilities Engineering
» Responsible for energy consumption, lighting, HVAC and power distribution.
» Responsible for install of telecommunications and network infrastructure.
» Design or redesign new facilities within the Harris global network.

Program Prerequisites
  • Pursuing BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full time permanent basis
  • Desire to learn and work in a world class manufacturing environment
