Landscape Architecture Intern- Summer 2023

You can sit in either our Boston, MA or Shelton, CT office. You will work in a hybrid office/remote/field model with our Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio group.

You will be assisting our landscape architecture team with design projects for parks, open spaces, campus and urban environments, municipal spaces, multi-scale landscape infrastructure, and development and remediation projects. You will be developing 3D models, rendering, and producing presentation graphics. You will also be assisting with the preparation of construction drawings/document sets and working with senior designers on a collaborative team.

You will need to be currently enrolled in and pursing a degree in Landscape Architecture with at least 2 years of completed course work. You will need to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, a desire to solve engineering problems, flexibility, a positive attitude, and open mindedness. It would be helpful to have experience using design software.

Our internships offer students the opportunity to work on real assignments across multiple disciplines, while also directly relating to their coursework. Students are paired with a “buddy” and supervisor, both of which provide day-to-day guidance on projects throughout the summer. We also rely heavily on our internship pool for entry-level full-time openings each year.
