Entry-Level Structural Staff Engineer

Where would you step in? 
As a valuable member of our Structural team, you will work with our multidisciplinary teams across the northeast. You will sit in our Westfield, MA office and will work in a hybrid office/remote/field model, including flex-time summer Fridays.

Our Structural Team and Projects
Our structural engineers design structural systems for new construction and building renovations. A quickly growing team with highly skilled and capable engineers, we support a variety of project teams from conceptual design through final bid documents, and construction phase services of various buildings and environmental structures such as dams.

What will you be doing? 
You will work on a team of experienced engineering consultants to design, build and inspect new structures and renovate, evaluate, and design existing building structural systems and equipment support structures; you will perform calculations and design reinforced concrete and masonry buildings and structures; you will also inspect hydrologic structures such as dams or flood control structures. You will help prepare biddable documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, and reports. You also will be involved in construction observation, construction administration, shop drawing and submittal review, and creation of construction record plans. 

What do you need? 
You will need a BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, MS preferred. It is advantageous if you have internship or work experience in survey, site engineering, bridge, design, permitting, or construction. If you had experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic/hydrologic studies and modeling, that would be helpful.
