Student Researcher - food waste
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering is seeking an undergraduate researcher for the following position:
This research assistant will assist in a research project on the conversion of food waste to fuels and chemicals. The position involves preparing inoculum cultivation media, maintaining strains, and taking and storing samples from experiments.
Required/Desired Qualifications:
Required: Second year or higher in a major with bioscience or bioengineering content; excellent communication skills
Desired: Laboratory experience; excellent analytical skills
Payrate: $15-17 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 5-15 hrs per week for the Spring semester
Colorado State University may conduct background checks on all final candidates
