Student Trainee (Regulatory)

The US Army Corps of Engineers is hiring a student trainee position in Regulatory. There is one position located at each of the following locations: Durango, Colorado, Grand Junction, Colorado, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. The position will receive on-the-job training in enforcing and permitting Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. The job involves both office and field work. The office work primarily includes assisting regulatory personnel with drafting correspondence and supporting documentation in accordance with regulations, laws, and other guidance, and entering information into our database and maintaining files. Field work primarily includes working in and near streams and wetlands to determine the presence and general characteristics of these features.
