Childcare Teachers (Temp, Part-Time)
IOCP is seeking three experienced CHILDCARE TEACHERS for one evening per week for nine weeks. Our childcare teachers will plan and lead a group of young children in creative and engaging activities while their parents attend a Circle of Security® program in another room. Teachers and families will first enjoy a meal together (dinner provided!) then break into separate groups. Children could range in age from 10 months up to 12 years old (we will know ages after registration). All sessions are held Thursday evenings at the IOCP building in Plymouth. We will supply the materials and toys—you supply the fun!
Schedule and Pay
- Temporary, Part-time
- Thursday evenings, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Starting February 16 through April 13
- $22/hour
Qualifications
- Experience leading and engaging groups of children.
- Able to plan and implement entertaining activities for a range of children.
- Capable of exercising patience and empathy.
- Provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
- Age 18+ and a minimum of a High School diploma.
- Commitment to equity and inclusion and the ability to excel in a multi-cultural environment.
