Tax Staff Accountant

LaPorte CPAs and Business Advisors is seeking full time Tax Staff Accountants for our offices in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Metairie, Louisiana, Houma, Louisiana, Covington, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas.

The Entry Level Tax Staff Accountant provides quality CPA services to the Firm’s clients by assisting client with routine accounting and tax functions, preparing assigned business and individual tax returns, becoming knowledgeable about basic tax requirements and with the IRS codes, participating in assigned tax research projects, having working knowledge of all routine microcomputer programs, and is progressing professionally by working toward passing the CPA Examination.

Students must be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting or a Master of Science in Accounting in December of 2020 and must be CPA exam eligible. Students must have a GPA of 3.2 or above.
