HandsOn Twin Cities Volunteer

HandsOn Twin Cities (HOTC) is a nonprofit that connects over 18,000 volunteers each year with hundreds of nonprofit volunteer opportunities. Along with matching individual volunteers with nonprofits, we expertly manage corporate volunteer projects that align with their company values and meet the needs of the nonprofit involved. Our mission is to inspire, equip, and mobilize a movement of people to make a positive difference through community engagement and service.

Volunteering with HOTC is a great opportunity for students interested in the nonprofit sector, project management, event planning, volunteer, or business engagement. We have a large network and work with hundreds of nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, and local businesses in the Twin Cities. We would love students to join us in helping finish up volunteer projects in our warehouse before delivering to our partners and to help us prepare for future projects this summer. Volunteer project examples: no-sew fleece tied blankets for homeless shelters, snack packs for youth serving organizations, pet toys for animal rescues, rejuvenating spaces with a new coat of paint, light landscaping, organizing and much more. Students may have the opportunity to help us in coordinating and leading corporate events in tandem with staff.

Students interested in joining HOTC can reach out to Nolan Isaacson, Corporate Projects Planner, at nolan@handsontwincities.org or (612) 379-4900. We will work 1:1 with you to gauge your interest, invite you to our facility, and review next steps for volunteering.
