The Learning & Development Multimedia Design Summer Intern position is designed to give exposure to Talent Management practices with practical, hands-on experience in the learning and development space. This position will assist with the creation of learning templates, curated learning pathways, and multimedia design and development under the guidance senior instructional designers. You will gain exposure to the various components of talent readiness from new hire learning to executive leadership development. Ideal candidates will have a deep knowledge of adult learning principles, agile learning design methodologies, and a passion for visual and multimedia design.
As a Learning & Development Multimedia Design Summer Intern, you will within a highly collaborative learning and development team and have a focus on the design and development of multimedia learning programs.
- Evaluate, create, and revise content and professional skills learning pathways in our internal Learning Management System and Learning Experience Platform
- Designing and creating storyboard concepts and layouts, for the development of engaging multimedia learning programs.
- Create, manage, and evaluate courses, curriculum, and deliverables under the guidance of experienced instructional designers.
- Assist in the design and/or develop of eLearning courses using Articulate 360 and various other authoring tools.
- Assist in creating presentations, infographics, and video pre/postproduction
- Develop templates to be used to accelerate learning development on future projects, which may include image galleries, graphics, animation, elearning modules, videos, catalogs, presentations, interactive ebooks, workbooks, and microsites
- Designing and creating storyboard concepts and layouts, for the development of engaging multimedia learning programs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
- Research current trends in organizational and learning development
- Other general administrative tasks
What your background should look like
Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion of a bachelor’s degree.
