Student Worker - Husky Helper (Work Study)
Job Description Summary
-Serve as a student service ambassador
-Manage Husky Helpers Email
-Maintain and Update Community Service Email List
-Maintain and update the GivePulse database
-Assist with the coordination and implementation of Make a Difference Day
-Administer assessment of volunteer opportunities and events
-Communicate with local volunteer agencies
-Research potential Alternative Spring Break locations through Break Away
-Engage in Social Media Platforms to promote and recognize volunteer agencies, organizations, and events.
-Assist the Office Assistant, Coordinators, Assistant Director, and Director of Student Leadership & Involvement with general responsibilities related to the position
-Utilize Involvement Link and Student Leadership & Involvement network drives to maintain and organize Student Organization files, including active/inactive organizations and constitution updates
-Communicate with Student Organizations about their reimbursement checks/packages with the Student Leadership & Involvement Office
-Provide general office assistance such as answering the phone, emails, questions, collecting and distributing mail, and greeting visitors
-Other duties as assigned

Hours
-Flexible hours during the Academic Year (4-12/week)
-Up to 30 hours of work during the summer
