Project Manager I or II (hydrological restoration)

Overview


RES is currently accepting applications for a Project Manager II (Hydrological Restoration), based out of any of our offices in Florida.
 
The mission: our team in Florida manages several full delivery environmental restoration projects. Since we are growing exponentially, the team requires an extra set of hands to help Senior PMs in carrying out large, complex environmental restoration projects with the focus on hydrology on-time, within scope and within budget
 
We are looking for an INQUISITIVE, ORGANIZED, and EFFICIENT MANAGER and “Big-Picture Thinker” who has interest in leading interdisciplinary teams of people - engineers, scientists and analysts and the project accounting team.
 
You may also represent RES before project stakeholder groups and other interested parties; therefore, we are looking for a COMMUNICATOR with strong situational awareness and diplomacy.


What your day-to-day might look like?


50% of your time, you will be supporting smaller scale projects, new and existing, in all project phases, including working on project scopes, schedule, and costs, based on the evaluation of the financial feasibility and regulatory and technical requirements, and managing subcontractors and consultants. Understanding and experience in budget implementation and project controls scheduling and experience in associated software to meet project goals is required, since you will be responsible for smaller scale projects, on your own.
 
50% of your time, you will support the Senior PMs in large scale projects, in budget planning, policies and procedures reviews, database upkeeping, invoicing and planning and documenting of project meetings and actions. You will also be supporting design development, permitting, implementation, and revenue recognition process.
 
Note that the team is located throughout Florida, therefore you must be comfortable working with remotely located teams.



Qualifications


We would love to talk to you if you have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in applied sciences, engineering, or similar field
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in an applied-sciences, engineering, or construction field; 1+ years of Project Management Experience within the 3+ years
 
What will make you stand out?
  • EIT
  • Experience with hydrologic restoration.
  • Experience leading teams in the applied-sciences, engineering, or construction setting.
  • Advanced Degree or additional qualifications such as certifications (PMP)
  • Experience with Sales Force and/or NetSuite
  • Knowledge/Experience in state (Florida) and federal permitting for landscape scape natural system solutions
