Welding Engineering Intern

Hamill Manufacturing Company has a Welding Engineering Intern employment opportunity now available for this Summer.

Education/Experience:
 
A minimum completion of two years in a four-year degree engineering program
 
A Welding Engineering Intern’s job responsibility includes:
 
1.      Assist with the preparation for welding Cu-Ni Heat Exchanger.
2.      Maintain weld wire inventory database
3.      Interact with shop personnel; and
4.      Perform other duties as assigned.
 
A Welding Engineering Intern will also have exposure to:
 
  1. Conducting technical research related to welding industry to address any manufacturing issues or for the matters of process improvement.
 
  1. Generating qualification requirements for specific welding standards.
 
  1. Brainstorming and researching ideas to contribute to process improvement.
