Merchant Intern

What You’ll Learn: 
  • How to develop seasonal product strategies that deliver to financial targets
  • How to maintain the integrity of spreadsheets and planning databases
  • How to participate in retail, catalog, and email planning for the season
  • How to proofread catalog pages during catalog production for content accuracy
  • How to provide weekly reporting and a regular recap of sales information to management
  • How to communicate with key business partners
  • How to analyze the retail industry and competition

What We’re Looking For:
  • A current undergraduate student of Merchandising or a similar program
  • Familiarity with omnichannel business model-catalog, online, and stores
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves kind of work ethic
  • A passion for sharing ideas and being a hands-on team member
  • The ability to complete projects with cross-functional partners
  • The ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • The ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
