Smart Factory Summer Intern
Location: Frederick, MD
We are currently seeking rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, or MBA students working towards obtaining a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Change and Knowledge Management, or related fields for a 10-12 week internship assignment during the summer of 2023.
Objectives/Goals of the Position:
- Advance FMC’s progress to becoming a Smart Factory.
- Contribute to everyday digital, lighthouse acceleration or other related initiatives.
Primary Duties:
- Gather requirements and needs from stakeholders.
- Design and develop solutions using immersive and interactive technologies (e.g. AR/VR).
- Develop work instructions using Tulip.
- Establish Data Analytics and Build Dashboards.
- Intern will be exposed to innovative technologies and pharmaceutical development operations.
Position Requirements:
- Rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, or MBA students working towards obtaining a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Change and Knowledge Management, or related fields.
- Previous experience in app development, database management, analytics, and information management tools.
- Previous experience in Tulip or PowerBI is a plus.
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
